Julissa Miro Quesada
Behavioral Health Manager
I was born in Lima-Peru and moved to Caracas-Venezuela when I was 10. I have lived in 6 different countries since and have made Los Angeles my home. My interest in psychology originated when I was only six years old and my best friend's mother whom I admired, shared with me that she was a psychotherapist. I began to ask the adults in my life about the profession and learned that my father's sister was also going to school to become a child psychologist. Both women were role models to me so I quickly became fascinated by the idea of a career in mental health and helping others. Personal reasons brought me to Los Angeles in 2003 where I completed my undergraduate and Master's Program in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University.
