Bequest

A gift made through your will or trust. This approach allows you to provide for your heirs, while designating a portion of your estate to help support the Clinic’s mission.

IRA Charitable Rollover

An IRA rollover allows people age 70 ½ and older to reduce their taxable income by making a gift directly from their IRA.

Donation of appreciated securities

When appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) are donated you are entitled to a deduction for their full value, not just the original cost.

Life Insurance Designation

You can name Saban Community Clinic as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or you can realize immediate tax benefits by making an irrevocable assignment of an insurance policy to the Clinic.

Gift Annuity

A simple, contractual agreement between a donor and the Clinic in which you give assets to the Clinic in exchange for our promise to pay one or two annuitant payments for life.

Sample Language

When your attorney drafts your will, we suggest using the following language:
“I give to Saban Community Clinic, a California not-for-profit organization (Federal Tax ID Number 95-2539105) with its principal offices at 8405 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90048, [(the sum of $__) or (all or __% of my residuary estate)]
